Can wearing a mask and gloves help reduce exposure to others after radioactive iodine treatment?

I don't think you need to do that. When I had it done due to thyroid, they just had me flush the toilet twice and wash hands twice. Oh, and don't pick up anything over 10 pounds for 2 weeks.
