Cheerleader Thong Hazing?

I'm a freshmen cheerleader at a local small college. They have this tradition, like most schools, that you wear your cheer uniform on gameday, which is fine I did this in highschool. But their tradition has a little twist, the freshmen girls have to wear regular panties under their skirt ALL DAY, and you know what's worse, it has to be a THONG! It wouldn't be a big deal if you could wear full panties, but a thong? Most of the girls don't care. I'm a little apprehensive but will more than likely do it. I guess it's better than some other forms of hazing, although I do have to walk up some stairs during the day. I'm sure the boys at the school get a kick out of it. lol. Do you have any crazy traditions or hazing at you school, i.e. cheerleading? What do you think of mine?
