Endocrinology Question?

It is likely that the underlying issue is a thyroid disease--your thyroid really was barely working at all. Do you have a goiter? When your thyroid isn't working well, your body is slow to respond to problems. The immune system doesn't work well, and the body doesn't repair itself well. So like you may have had a tendency to urethral prolapse but your body might have been able to prevent that but with a low thyroid, your body just couldn't respond fast enough to prevent it. Same thing with shingles. Your low libido is almost certainly due to a combination of low thyroid and also low ovarian hormones due to being in menopause. Are you at a normal age to be in menopause? Because if you are younger than around 45, then it could be that your ovaries aren't working due to the low thyroid. It's typical that with low thyroid, your periods stop. Low adrenal function is pretty uncommon, while low thyroid is pretty common. So it's likely that your entire problem is with your thyroid.
