I used to be able to tab between answers in the crossword, now I have to mouse click into each. Help!?

When I type my answer, I cannot go directly to the next clue/answer box using the tab key any more. I must mouse click into the box beyond the black fill space. How can I get it to go back to tabbing across clues/boxes? When I use the tab key now, it goes from link to link outside the puzzle.
