Why did he abandon her?What do guys want?

My friends husband left her with two 2 year old babies form two girls, older then her. In fact they kept phoneing her house and making threats that she better leave or theyll f*** her up or somthing,a nd her husband did nothing. She did move away for a while, pretty much running away. I just dont understand why. She was a good mother and cook and cleaner, actually she was really submissive. isnt that what men want? and if not what do they want?
